Cool Mount Guest

I left on the second day because of the room and service issues. When I told them in the morning, they demanded payment for two full days despite the poor conditions. I disagreed, but after the local police got involved, I paid an extra 3,500 under pressure. I was also threatened several times during this. My stay was from 14/15 april. On arrival, the room hadn't been cleaned. When I reported it, I was handed a broom and expected to clean it myself. The bathroom shower tap was damaged, and instead of fixing or replacing it, they gave me a tool. The bed was broken and unsafe as well.

The service was much appreciated, and the food was delicious. Our room had a balcony with viewpoints to watch, especially in the morning. Washrooms were kept clean and hot water was available. It’s a calm, lovely place to visit, and I’d highly recommend staying here with friends or family when you come to Little England. 😲⭐❤

The view straight out to the tea plantations was the best part, and the room was fairly clean with a terrace. But the bed was rock hard, the most uncomfortable one we’ve ever tried to sleep on. There was just one plug in the room and none in the bathroom. The water was hot, but pressure was very low. Breakfast was only okay; we've had much better at other homestays in SL. The neighbours next door were noisy all night, drinking, smoking, and playing music. Nuwara Eliya town is about a 10-15min tuktuk ride away.

We spent two nights here and had a great time. It’s a very clean, nice property close to Nanu Oya station, and the food was good without costing much. Highly recommend it.
