I’ve stayed twice, in 2024 and 2026, and the room price was the same. Prices are shown in the photos. The staff are friendly. Rooms are clean, neat, and smell nice, and the bath wear is clean. Hot water is available, but a heater isn’t included and costs extra. Breakfast wasn’t enough, so I’d get it from outside. There was no fresh juice, only cordial. I’d also recommend getting lunch elsewhere. Dinner was tasty, especially the omelet, beef, and mixed rice. Liquors are BYOB, and there’s a BBQ facility. For enjoying your bottle, I recommend the upper outside area.

From the balcony you can see Piduruthalaga and Great western mountains, and there’s plenty of parking. The hotel is easy to get to, has a nice view, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms and washrooms are neat and clean. A heater costs LKR 1500 per night. I’m not sure about wheelchair access, since I didn’t see a lift or ramp. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Nuwara eliya.

A quiet little escape with lovely mountain views and fresh, cool air. There’s plenty of greenery around, and with fewer people about, it’s a nice place for a slow walk or a few photos. A refreshing break from the busy city.

Getting to Lake Gregory and the other popular sights was easy from Manuka Hillwood Resort. We stayed in a roomy, comfortable and very clean room, then ordered dinner since we were on a room-only booking. The little appetizers were delicious, and the whole place felt calm and restful.

The drive in is a bit bumpy and narrow, but the lobby has a cool view. The place itself was clean and nice, and the staff were okay.
