The pool is a nice extra, and the place is alright. Getting to the main road means walking along a dark path, which isn't ideal at night with elephants and other animals around. The rooms could use renovating.

We saw so many elephants on the safari the hosts arranged, and their connection was well worth using. It started at 11:30 am, so we missed the morning and afternoon crowds. The hosts were friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with different local dishes each morning. We stayed for two nights in the lovely jungle garden. The only letdown was that the room's A/C didn't work. They brought us a floor fan for the second night, and that helped a lot.

The hosts were lovely and very accommodating, and breakfast was beautiful. Our room was clean and basic, but it had what we needed. The pool looked inviting, though we were too busy to try it. They helped us find tuk tuks and gave us good local food recommendations. The showers weren't hot. We were usually heading out very early and didn't ask the host to fix it.

The family were so warm and helpful, and the setting was quiet and full of nature. We were still close to the city centre and could enjoy the lovely pool. Heshan, one of the hosts, guided our safari in Hurulu park. He knows a lot about elephants, and we saw so many. Our room was great, with air conditioning and a mosquito net. The bathroom was a little dated, though the shower had warm water. Breakfast was among the best we had on our three week trip, with different local products each day. We'd recommend staying here in Sigiriya.
