Great place to unwind after a long day. The outdoor seating was especially lovely, with a garden view and fresh fruit drink or tea. The owners are so nice and helpful, always smiling, and their smiles are almost contagious. They arranged a safari for a reasonable price. The food was tasty, with different breakfast choices and dinner ordered from a menu. The fried rice was the best I ate in Asia during my two months there. We stayed three nights and had a really nice experience. The location is perfect, with a restaurant right in front of the doors and walking distance to Lion rock and the city center, while being off the main road so it wasn’t too noisy. Our room was perfectly clean, with very good AC and a mosquito net. The bathroom could use some extra care.

For budget travelers passing through Sigiriya, this is a fine option. The room was clean and comfortable enough, with a particularly inviting patio, but the family running the place was what made it memorable. Gayan welcomed me with a warm look and an infectious smile, offering his hand for a shake. I got to choose tea or coffee when I arrived and enjoyed it on the patio. The next morning, they brought breakfast as soon as they noticed I’d woken up. Big thanks to Gayan’s sister for going out of her way to bring back a glove that a mischievous pup had stolen from my patio table. Top shelf hosts!

The spot was peaceful but still close to everything, and the food was incredible. Our hosts did so much to make sure we had what we needed. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. Thanks again!

A lovely, welcoming little place, made even better by the kind people running it. They helped arrange trips to the popular sights by bus, tuk tuk, or car. A great choice for spending time in Sigiriya.

The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, and everything was clean. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were great. They also gave us good dinner suggestions in town. Highly recommend.
