Hotel en restaurant du Golf

The staff were friendly, and the room was quiet and spacious. There was no hot water because they’d run out of gas, but we were able to shower in the golf changing room.

Breakfast was great, and the service was nice. The restaurant was closed on the Thursday we stayed, though the friendly bar staff could offer lasagna or sandwiches, which was better than nothing. Parking and Wi-Fi were free, and the location was quiet and surrounded by nature. Our room was big, clean, comfortable, dog-friendly, and very quiet. The curtains couldn’t close all the way because of the window shape. There’s no lift, so you have to carry your bags up stairs, and down more stairs if your room is at the far end of the building.

From the start, the service was excellent. A wonderful hotel, highly recommended 💯%.

The rooms were clean, the views pretty, parking was good, and breakfast decent. The staff’s attitude kept this from being a great stay, and we won’t be coming back. They gave us the wrong room, which can happen, but when we came down because the name on the card was wrong, they seemed annoyed. We were moved to another room, then the key didn’t work, and again the response was annoyed and unfriendly. I understand the restaurant was busy, but it felt rude. Later, when we wanted a drink at the bar, we were told quite rudely that it was last call. That wasn’t a problem, but they could have said it more nicely.
