Yasha Hotel

The location by the central station is the main concern. Like other European central stations, it’s a pretty sketchy area. There are several strip clubs and a sex shop on the same street as a primary school, and people sell drugs and their bodies there, so bear that in mind if you’re travelling alone. The hotel does take safety precautions and only lets tenants in at any time of day. Inside, the hotel is quite nice. The staff were polite, the rooms well cleaned, and I’ve no real complaints about my stay. Bathrooms were well stocked, though the room fridge was fairly noisy.

Arthur, the son, was friendly, kind, and great at hospitality. After checkout, we left our bags at reception while we visited the city, then came back in the evening to collect them without any trouble. It’s a family run hotel close to the central Railway station, the Flixbus drop off, and the city centre. Since transport is free in Luxembourg, it’s conveniently connected. This street has several hotels in a similar price range, 110 euros for two adults per night. Our room was good and clean, as was the toilet. It had a bathtub, toiletries, towels, tea, coffee, and a kettle, though the kettle didn’t work. We got hot water from the restaurant downstairs. Booking online could help you avoid missing out on a room, since the price is the same online and offline and rooms get booked. Recommended. Location, safety, and comfort were all 5/5, price 4/5.

I didn’t sleep well because the noise was unbearable, even though the room itself was clean. I was glad the hotel is right in the heart of Luxembourg City Centre. If cleanliness and friendliness are what you’re after, Yasha Hotel is a good choice.

For a budget stay, it’s an excellent choice. My double room was great and had a small balcony at the back of the hotel, and the WiFi was good. The staff were very friendly, the hotel was clean, and both the room and bathroom were cleaned every day. The area has a few rough edges, but it’s nothing to do with the hotel. I can assure you it’s a thousand times better than the station areas in Frankfurt, Kings Cross, Euston, and Brussels, so don’t be put off.
