I felt safe staying here on my own as a woman. The hostel is clean, with reliable wifi, hot showers and working outlets. The rooms are basic, but as a backpacker I don't need luxury. I loved the architecture and exposed wooden beams, and the staff were really friendly. It's in an excellent Old Town location, very close to the BEST bar, Folklubs Ala Pagrabs. I'd absolutely recommend it.

We had a really nice time here after missing the boat and being lucky enough to find somewhere to sleep. Staff were super friendly and available 24 hours a day. The hostel is right in central Riga, so everywhere is a short walk away. They were happy to tell us about things to do in and around the city.

The location was good, but that was the only good part. Our family room had bunk beds with mattresses as thin as carpets, and just two small towels for five people to share. There are lots of floors and no elevator. I won't be back.

The hostel is in Riga's Old Town and has a kitchen and hot water. The owner, Ms. Vinita, and her family are very cooperative. It's one of the best hostels I've ever seen.
