Nicolas and his team made my 40th birthday with friends from across Europe feel really special. They put together a beautiful setting for the evening, and everyone was amazed. Even with a group that could be a handful, they looked after us and made sure things went smoothly. I’ve returned to L'Oliveraie de l’Atlas several times, for quick breaks and longer weekends, and it’s been consistently lovely. The property feels peaceful and makes it easy to switch off. The food is fresh and full of flavor, and the hammam and massages are hard to beat. I always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend.

Getting around was a hassle. The hotel is about 12 km from the city center, with nothing in walking distance, so you rely on taxis that can add up. There’s a free shuttle, which is useful, but it only runs twice daily and needs planning. The vehicles were very old and worn. At checkout we couldn’t take the shuttle because we had luggage, which was especially inconvenient given the distance and limited transport options. The room was okay, and housekeeping cleaned daily and made the bed neatly. But the WiFi was weak and unreliable, hot water didn’t work properly, and pressure was low at both the shower and sink. The bathroom also had visible dust and limescale when we arrived. Breakfast was another problem. We told the hotel ahead of time that we needed gluten-free options because of allergies and were assured it would be handled, but nothing was prepared. We paid for breakfast we couldn’t eat. The restaurant was disappointing too: the food didn’t justify the high prices, and communication was sometimes difficult because the staff spoke limited English. I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay in Marrakech was a real disappointment. There were a few positives, including daily cleaning and a shuttle, but maintenance, cleanliness, food, and dietary requests all need attention.

The hammam and massage were a lovely way to unwind, and the setting around us felt almost magical, with nature, peaceful views, and beautifully arranged spaces. The team made my friend’s 40th birthday feel personal and memorable. We were there for three days at L’Oliveraie de l’Atlas, and the staff were warm from the moment we arrived. Their attentiveness made us feel at home. Every meal was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented, and we still talk about the food. We left with wonderful memories and full hearts. I’d recommend the place for a celebration or a quiet break.

After a long, busy day, coming back here felt like finding a peaceful little paradise. The gardens are lovely, the place is clean, and the staff are outstanding. I’ve finally found somewhere great to stay whenever I visit Marrakech. It deserves more than five stars.

The breakfast was disgusting, and after paying for four nights I left after just one. The hotel is outside town, taxis are hard to arrange, and rides from the hotel are expensive. There’s no gym or lounge either. In my opinion, this is no more than a two-star place. Manager Nicholas gave us no eye contact and didn’t apologize about the infestation in our room. He needs to learn how to welcome and deal with guests.
