It can be tricky to find, and the last 300m of narrow offroad driving might put you off. But behind the big blue gate, Nour Mogador really is a hidden pearl. It has a few beautifully decorated rooms with a great Moroccan atmosphere. Our room was freezing on the first night. The owner Ibrahim kindly brought us an extra warm blanket, then an electric heater the next evening. We had a private bathroom and breakfast included, and it was perfect each morning: warm bread, different kinds of crepes, honey, jam, fresh cheese, peanut butter, plus good tea and coffee. The shower was good and hot, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Communication with the owner on WhatsApp was easy, and he writes and speaks English very well. Highly recommended if you want peaceful, relaxing nights a short drive from touristy Essaouira.

The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we felt really well looked after. On a cold night we arrived to a warm welcome, twinkling candles, and a fire already lit. Our family suite was spacious, comfortable, relaxing, and had beautiful lighting. The location was lovely, out in quiet countryside but not far from the beach. Breakfast was definitely the best we had in Morocco. It’s perfect for families or individuals. We loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much!
