Riad Safa

We enjoyed a little downtime on the clean, tidy rooftop, sitting in the sun. The breakfast was lovely, and the staff kindly arranged an early one for our day trip. The room was clean, well maintained, and lovely. The central areas looked a little tired, though they were still pretty, and the hotel was good value. It’s a short walk to many restaurants and attractions. The alleys leading there were messy and sometimes a bit smelly, but that isn’t the hotel’s fault. We stayed for two nights and found the staff friendly and helpful. Check-in was a little tricky because we arrived early, only the cleaners were there, and we had a language barrier. That was understandable given we were early. We left our bags and came back at check-in time, and everything went smoothly. Would recommend.

We slept so well in our slightly small room that we stayed in bed much longer than we usually would. Hassain greeted us warmly and was great with maps and advice. The riad’s in a handy spot in the medina, a couple of minutes’ walk from its heart but close to a road where taxis can stop. It made our time in Marrakesh memorable. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re coming here.

We enjoyed relaxing on the roof terrace, and breakfast was tasty. Our room was cosy and clean, and the staff were very helpful. A lovely place.

The beds were SO comfortable, and the rooms were a decent size. We were close to the morning call, which was loud, but it didn’t bother us and added to the cultural experience. The riad sits just outside the busy part of the Medina, so it was a welcome break from all the bustle. Inside, the clean white, minimal decor made it feel peaceful and quiet. Abdel and the team made us feel at home and gave us great tips for spending our time in Marrakech. Breakfast on the terrace was a great start to the day, just enough to get us going. Everything about our stay was brilliant.
