Abélia Riad

The terrace was lovely, and the staff were so sweet and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. I loved staying here and would definitely come back.

Our host made us feel very welcome, and we really enjoyed the delicious breakfast. We stayed at Abelia Riad for three nights, and the accommodation was very clean. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Fayssal gave us wonderful service, and the rest of the staff were kind and welcoming too. We had a lovely time at Abélia Riad, especially enjoying the beautiful courtyard and rooftop. Breakfast was good as well. It's in a less touristy part of the Medina, which suited us. The road where you can get a taxi is about 5 minutes away, and the walk to the centre takes around 15-20 minutes. Thank you for being so kind and amazing to us :)

Youssef was such a kind, attentive host, quick to respond to requests and always checking that guests were comfortable. The housekeeping team was great too. The small riad is a calm retreat from the bustle outside, and it feels secure, with a night porter to let guests in and out. The rooms are beautiful and the bed gave me a perfect night's sleep. Breakfast included coffee, bread, jam, honey, porridge, omelettes, and freshly made crumpets or crepes. The main square and Madrasa Ben Youssef are about a 25-minute walk away. Be confident navigating the local streets and watch for the motorbikes whizzing past. It felt like a truly local experience. There's also an airport taxi service at reasonable rates, payable by credit card. The driver picks you up at the city wall gates, about a 5-minute walk from the riad.
