Belko Nomads Hostel

The walk to Jama el Fna takes about 10 minutes. The building has lots of charm, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are great. Staff are friendly and keep the hostel clean and tidy all the time. Breakfast is delicious. Definitely recommend it.

There wasn’t much of a hostel atmosphere, and the room we were given on the ground floor had a door to the inner courtyard that seemed partly broken and wouldn’t close completely. They didn’t offer us another room, even though there seemed to be a couple of spaces on the first floor. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to welcome us, despite calling ahead. The printer service and card payment didn’t work either. The rooms were generally okay, but could use more sockets.

The area around the hostel didn’t feel safe at night, and inside, our room had no key. The carpet smelled, there was a cockroach running around, and the very small pool was closed for renovation, along with a few restrooms and guest rooms. Staff were friendly at first, but they didn’t return our change and then became very impolite. The beds would have been too small if anyone in our group had been tall.

A great hostel, very clean and all new. There’s plenty of space to relax, and breakfast was nice. We had hot water and good WiFi.
