HA´tel Le Rocher De Marrakech

The evening view earned the one star. The rooftop wasn’t busy, but service was still the worst of my trip. One server seated us and took our order, then another came over to take it again, apparently because the first one no longer wanted to serve us. We were only ordering hookah and tea, with no alcohol, so I don’t understand the selectiveness. We waited an hour for the hookah, and it was terrible, especially after that long wait. There were eight servers on the floor and just one person handling hookah, who clearly needed help. We should’ve left earlier, but didn’t want to add stress to the night. If you’re spending an evening in Marrakesh, find somewhere else.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and it came with the room. The restaurant staff were very nice too. I also liked having a 1.5L bottle of water replaced in the room each day. The minibar had sodas for about 30MAD, depending on what you chose. Our room was comfortable and nicely furnished, with a firm but comfortable bed. The hotel is in an upscale part of Marrakesh, not too far from the tourist sites. There was construction across the street, though, and it got noisy early one morning. I could probably have asked for a room farther away from it. One small thing to know: the entrance is around the corner, rather than on the Main Street.

The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the rooftop with its pool and bar. Our room and bed were spacious and comfortable, and we had a nice balcony. The hotel is in a great spot in the modern neighborhood. The staff were the kindest people, especially hotel director Mr Asaad. He’s an amazing person, and everyone was so friendly.

I’m from the UK and was really happy with my stay. The rooms were super clean, and they had all the usual amenities you’d expect at a high-end hotel. The service was incredible. I’ll stay here again next time I’m back in Marrakech. 👍🏾😊
