Hotel Pestana CR7 Marrakech

The breakfast restaurant staff were so attentive and helpful. Soumia and chef Latifa did everything they could for us, always smiling, and even suggested new things to try. Thanks as well to Fatima Ezzahra at the front of house for the breakfast restaurant, she was always friendly and helpful. Amazing hotel, location, and staff. Thanks so much, we’ll be back.

We spent five nights at the pestana CR7 in Marrakesh for my partner’s 50th birthday. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Khalil checked us in and took good care of us throughout the stay. He booked a table for us at Dar Dar for the birthday. When we arrived, he’d told them it was my partner’s birthday, and they seated us on the rooftop, which we couldn’t have booked ourselves. He also managed to upgrade our room, since it was a quieter time of year. We were really grateful. Thank you all for making our stay special.

The breakfast was amazing, and the women on housekeeping and the cook who made breakfast were great. Pool staff were lovely too. The hotel is new and modern, but several things made our stay difficult. The room details on the official website said it came with a king bed and a sofa bed. There was no sofa bed, just an ordinary sofa, and staff told me none of their rooms have sofa beds. At first they only offered extra bedding so someone could sleep on the sofa. I had to insist before they brought a small extra bed. For a paid triple room, this shouldn’t take repeated requests. Housekeeping wasn’t reliable either. We put up the “Please clean” sign, but no one came. Later, without us knowing, it had been changed to “Do Not Disturb.” The bathroom had no ventilation fan, the toilet’s glass door was broken, and the shower had no door, so water splashed everywhere. The inaccurate room description and unresponsive service had a real impact on our stay.
