We booked through AirBnb and stayed one night. The rooms were basic but clean, which was what mattered to me since we'd booked somewhere cheap just to sleep. The staff were friendly, though their English wasn't great. If you speak French, you'll be fine. We hadn't realized our minibus couldn't get right to the hotel and dropped us about a ten minute walk away. If you're carrying lots of luggage, men with carts can take it the rest of the way.

A good place for up to nine people, with one bedroom on the ground floor and three upstairs. There's a small pool in the middle, and breakfast is available for an extra cost. The old market in Marrakech is an easy walk away.

We were a group of ten and loved the location. The terrace was fantastic, the pool was great for a refreshing dip, and breakfast was generous and excellent. Thanks to the cook, who we accidentally inconvenienced by locking the door and keeping her from getting back in early to start work. There were a couple of drawbacks: a pump in the kitchen would suddenly roar and startle even light sleepers, and children in the street were settling scores with large stones. Luckily, that seemed to be a passing phase, and they weren't aggressive when we asked what was happening. Our two nights in April were very peaceful. We didn't get around to it, but apparently you can order homemade couscous a day ahead.
