We stayed in October 2023 and had a really nice time. The owner was kind and helpful, and even moved us to a bigger, nicer room. Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious, and the hostel is close enough to walk to all the main attractions. There’s a lot of traffic right outside, which isn’t the hostel’s fault, but keep it in mind if outside noise makes it hard for you to sleep.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is worth trying for the full experience. There’s a shop right across from the hotel, and it’s near the city centre. I’d book it again on another visit to Marrakesh.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Medina. The room was clean, and breakfast was great. A hostel, but a cheap place to stay.

The room was so cramped it felt like a bunker, with no window, very little light, street noise, and a constant sense that the air wasn’t good. I wouldn’t recommend a ground-floor room. There was nowhere to store our things or open our luggage, and no closet. Towels, a dining table, and a hairdryer were also missing, even though they were listed as included. The Wi-Fi was poor, as was my phone connection, despite having an Orange SIM card that usually works well around the country. We found hair on the pillows and sheets, and the bathroom floor was covered in water when we arrived. I booked a room with an external private bathroom, but it turned out to be shared. The listing also calls this an Hotel, though it’s a Hostel, as the sign on the main door says Peace Hostel. What was advertised didn’t match what we got. Breakfast was included, but on the second day nobody served it. It was meant to start at 8 am on the terrace. We waited 50 minutes, but there was no one there and nothing laid out. Nobody told us it wasn’t happening. I tried the property’s WhatsApp number and got no reply for over an hour. The owner finally answered my second call, apologized, and said he didn’t know why breakfast hadn’t been served, perhaps the person in charge hadn’t woken up. There was a man sleeping in the room beside the terrace. Things like missing breakfast and being ignored seem to be possible here. The service and communication were terrible, and they offered no solution or proper apology. Since I missed breakfast because of their failure to serve it, I contacted Booking.com about compensation. The owner’s only response was that breakfast had been served, contradicting what he told me on the phone when he apologized and suggested the staff member might not have woken up. I took photos and screenshots to support my account. I don’t recommend this place for a stay in Marrakech. There are many other places that are nicer, more comfortable, more central, and less expensive. This hostel wasn’t worth the money and spoiled part of my vacation. I hope the money I wasted goes toward something useful, maybe a class on how to work properly. This is a terrible way to treat someone who chose and paid to stay here.

There’s a lovely terrace with a kitchen beside it that stays open all the time. The owner is kind, helpful, and speaks several languages. Rooms are small, but clean and fair for the price. Breakfast is simple, just tea or coffee, egg, bread, and a pancake, but it’s fresh and tasty.
