Relax Hotel Marrakech

The room was clean, the pillows were comfortable, and the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was fine, with enough to get the day started, though the selection wasn't huge. The shower had strong hot water, but the temperature kept pulsing to burning hot without warning. Noise is the biggest problem. Road sounds were ridiculous, and the windows don't close properly, so bring a sleepband. There isn't much sound insulation inside either, and we could hear people coughing next door and furniture moving on the floors above and below. The beds were so firm that my shoulders hurt, and I spent much of the night shifting around. It's a basic hotel that does the job, but I wouldn't rush back.

It's a simple, practical hotel, and quite nice. The big supermarket and places like McDonald's and Pizza Hut are close by, though the old city is a bit far. At breakfast they need more glasses and cups, and there aren't enough staff to serve everyone. They should have more people on hand when they're needed.

We were comfortable during our three days here, and the location worked well for us. There's a bus stop nearby, about half an hour from the city center, plus a large supermarket and lots of restaurants around. The staff were very nice and met our needs. When we asked to switch rooms, they handled it quickly. The only problem was the water temperature changing unpredictably in the shower.

The breakfast setup was frustrating: there weren't many choices, and we couldn't find a place to sit or any utensils. The rooms themselves are decent and have a nice view.
