The location was superb, and the rooms were extremely clean with great service. Breakfast was good, with a different local bread each day, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they arranged the Hammam at the hotel right away. A must-stay for me. If I’m back, I’ll definitely stay here again.

Abdel was especially kind and efficient when helping arrange our stay, and everyone made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. The riad is in a great spot in the medina, with lovely Moroccan-style decor and very comfortable rooms.

A few minutes on foot from Jemaa El Fna square, the museums, and Bahia Palace, this riad also helped arrange taxis and excursions. The food was comforting and delicious, like the slow-cooked dishes our grandmothers made. I travel a lot, and I’ve never been welcomed this warmly. Such a hospitable, helpful place, a little haven in the middle of Marrakech.

I’ve been coming to Riad Akka twice a year for four years, and the staff and management are just as warm and friendly every time. I’m already looking forward to next year. It’s pure bliss for a real change of scenery. The flower-filled terrace and jacuzzi are lovely after a day out, and all the beautiful rooms, including a suite, are on one floor. The riad is in the Medina, around 10 minutes from Jemaa el-Fna square. Mohamed (daytime) is always friendly and available with tips about attractions and excursions, and can arrange a taxi. Taja makes delicious tagine, couscous, Moroccan soup, crudités, grilled meat, and desserts. Naima keeps the rooms spotless each day. Mohamed (nighttime) serves a varied, excellent breakfast each morning, with Moroccan pancakes, fruit, and more. Riad Akka, please keep doing what you do!
