The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and this is a very nice riad in a good location.

We had a very pleasant stay. The riad has a great atmosphere, sits right in the middle of the medina, and the staff were wonderful and helpful.

We hadn't chosen this Riad in advance, but it turned out to be a lucky choice. We arrived at 9:30 in the morning, before the room was ready, and Nadira, who speaks very good English, made us comfortable while we waited. She's lovely. The place felt well cared for and possibly recently renovated, and our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good too. Finding it may take a bit of effort. Our taxi left us by the Palais de la Bahia and pointed us down the alleys to look for the sign. We managed, but I'd suggest arranging for someone to meet you there. We'd come to Marrakech thanks to a great Malpensa offer and a SmartBox Christmas gift. Nadira also offered us a cooking class to learn tagine, which was a wonderful experience and delicious as well. I've seen complaints about there being no bathroom door or a room not being ready at 10 a.m., but those seem like minor things to me. It's not one of the cheapest places in Marrakech, though the location, service and convenience make it worth considering. Kind regards, Nadira!

The staff were really kind and helpful. They gave us tips for getting around the city and helped us get a SIM card for the phone. I also loved the riad's kitten and the well-kept terrace. Still, the photos don't quite match the reality, and we expected much more. We found the riad much smaller than it looked online, with dirty little sofas. The tea and sweet welcome seemed to be something all riads offer. Our Smartbox package said it included a wellness experience, pool access, a massage and a VIP welcome with food and drinks. I couldn't tell what the wellness experience meant, since there were just two tiny rooms, one for massage and one for hammam. The only pool-like feature was a small fountain on the terrace, and it had no water. Breakfast was ordinary, and the overnight rates weren't cheap compared with other riads in the city.

The riad was clean, renovated and bright, a great fit for our few days away as a family. It's only five minutes from the square, yet it felt like a calm refuge away from the noise of the city. We were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the place was and how tasteful the decor felt. Sonia was so kind and attentive. We had dinner there on our first night, then as often as we could, because it was really delicious. Breakfast was generous and homemade, too. We also tried the treatments, and at those prices I'd say it's worth it. I loved the hammam, scrub and wrap, such a relaxing moment. I'd definitely recommend it and would come back. Thanks to Sonia and Carole!
