I only stayed one night, but loved the rooms: pared back, with darker finishes and lovely details, while still feeling authentic. There was plenty of space and storage, and the beds have heating, which was welcome on a cold night. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. In the evening, the Manager met me at the taxi drop off so I could find the riad more easily. Breakfast was sufficient, with mint tea, orange juice, kiwi fruit, omelette, pancakes, bread, and condiments. As with any riad, noise from guests can carry, but I’d stay again. The price is very reasonable.

We really recommend staying here in Marrakesh. The Riad is right in the Medina, the rooms were very clean, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. It was also very comfortable, and the staff were lovely.

The cleaning and kitchen staff were welcoming and polite, but the rest of my stay was disappointing. The receptionist was unfriendly from the start: on arrival he handed me a key without explaining anything, so I had to come back later to ask when and where breakfast was served. Breakfast came without anyone asking what I liked. Once I said I don't eat sweet breakfasts, they changed it to bread, avocado, and eggs. I stayed at the end of January and the riad was cold and very damp throughout. There was an AC/heater in my room, but everything still felt humid, and the bathroom had no heater. I wouldn't recommend a riad in winter based on this stay. The taxi and tourist tax situation made things worse. I asked reception to arrange a taxi to the airport, then was told five minutes before it arrived that I owed the tourist tax. I had only set aside cash for the taxi, so I asked to pay by card. With no card reader, the receptionist asked for my card details, including the security code, to pay online. That didn't feel safe, so I tried a disposable online card instead, but their website wouldn't accept it. I was already running late. The receptionist suggested the taxi driver could take me to an ATM and pass the money back to them, and I agreed. The nearest ATM charged an extra €8, so I withdrew 200 dirhams rather than 250 and gave that to the driver. I explained by phone, then the receptionist messaged that he would report me to the police. The riad was cold and damp, and the receptionist was rude. I wouldn't recommend it.

The manager was so helpful when we left our tablet behind. They sent it to us in another city the same day, and we're really grateful. It's a lovely place, with sophisticated architecture.
