The shower had no hot water, so I had to wash elsewhere. The owners even blamed me for the broken water heating system, and I got no reimbursement. Before that, at arrival, my passport was kept for 30 minutes. I got the impression the managers don’t like Moroccans or Algerians, though that was apparently the reason given for the delay. I’d expected a luxurious stay from the photos, but the room I was handed after the wait wasn’t as clean as I’d expect from a hotel. Complaining didn’t change anything, and the service was bad, with conceited housekeepers. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. Stay somewhere else if you want to enjoy your vacation.

Khadidja, our housekeeper, gave us a lovely welcome. The riad was beautiful and very clean, with a swimming pool, and the people of Marrakechi were so welcoming too. Highly recommended!
