Riad Dar Al Amal

The breakfast was amazing, and the bathrooms were spotless. We also loved the cosy rooftop and how kind and helpful the staff were throughout our stay. It’s around a 15-20 minute walk to Jemaa el-Fnaa. If you park at the edge of the Medina and walk in, allow about 10-15 minutes to get here; getting dropped near Bacha Coffee makes for an easier 3-4 minute walk. A beautiful riad, highly recommended.

The terrace was lovely for spending time, and breakfast was excellent. My room was cute, very clean, and just right for a few nights. The location is hard to beat, but the riad is still quiet at night and felt very safe. The staff were amazing, especially Maoud, who arranged my airport taxi and met me at the drop-off point. I had a great stay and would absolutely recommend Riad Dar Al Amal. I’ll stay again next time I’m in Marrakech.

Breakfast in the open-air courtyard was a wonderful start to the day, and they arranged it around our schedule. It was homemade and had several dishes. We also appreciated their help with a restaurant booking: they called ahead to check that a table would be available and gave us directions. Riad Dar Al Amal sits in a quiet corner at the end of a Medina passage, but it’s easy to reach from the street. The room was very comfortable and gave us a distinctly local Moroccan experience. We loved the riad’s decor and atmosphere from the moment we arrived, and were welcomed so warmly. This hidden gem in the heart of the Medina was comfortable, clean, and wonderfully hospitable. We can’t recommend it enough, and won’t stay anywhere else on our next Marrakech trip.

The concierge got me a small breakfast before the usual time, arranged my airport taxi, and walked me to it in the morning. I was only there for one night, but it was a great experience. The grand double room had 18-20 for ceilings, a spacious bathroom with a fountain-style bathtub and shower, and lots of historic Moroccan luxury charm. Its large double windows face the inner courtyard; closing them gives you quiet, and the efficient AC above kept the room cool with a soft hum. Bear in mind this is a little way from the main market square. If a 10-15 minute walk to the main attractions works for you, this is a must-stay.
