Riad El Mezouar

The room was beautiful, and breakfast was delicious. Romaine was such an accommodating host that we felt at home at El Mezouar right away. Of all the places we stayed in Marrakech, this felt the most special. It's also very well located, an easy walk to the heart of the medina. I'd recommend it and hope to come back.

Romaine and her lovely staff were incredibly helpful, even arranging transport and a visit to a local Hamann. The care Romaine has put into restoring original features with traditional methods and craftsmen shows throughout the Riad. Having toured Andalusia the week before, including the Real Alcazar and The Alhambra, I still felt like a prince in my own palace here. The calm of Riad el Mezouar was a complete change from Marrakech's frenetic arrival. It became the best home away from home I've found in years of business and leisure travel. Dinner was fab, overlooking the shimmering pool, flowerbeds and fountain with candles all around. Breakfast on the roof terrace came with thoughtful details, lovely surroundings and distant views of the snow-clad Atlas Mountains. Looking forward to visiting again.

My partner's work plans were uncertain, so we couldn't book at first. When he was finally cleared to travel, I got back in touch with Romaine to plan our days in Marrakech. She'd already been so helpful over email while I was organizing the trip, after a coworker recommended Riad El Mezouar. From her hospitality and the photos of her Riad, I can imagine we'd have had a wonderful stay. Thank you, Romaine!

The facilities and food were outstanding, and the staff were lovely, always making sure we felt at home. The host was very kind and attentive too. Amazing Riyad, and a great way to experience a true Riyad in Marrakesh. I'll definitely return.
