Riad Dar Tachata

After long days walking around the souks, the gorgeous room and divine beds were a real treat. Palais Andara Riad is also very conveniently close to the souks. The terrace has sun loungers, and the downstairs pool was perfect in 90°F weather. Soufiane and Abdsamad were especially kind and helpful, with great dinner suggestions and recommendations for us as first timers in Morocco. The food was amazing, and my first hammam was fantastic, with such thoughtful care from the Spa staff. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Morocco.

The Riad is in a good spot near the Souks and Medina, though it’s also close to a local village and tannery, so take care when walking into the souks. The staff gave us good dinner and activity suggestions and went out of their way to make sure we, as young girls, felt safe and understood the area. The place was really lovely and clean, and Soufiane deserves a shout-out for welcoming us and explaining what we needed to know about Marrakech.

Beds and pillows were super comfortable, and everything felt brand new. The food was fantastic and a great deal compared with eating out. We’ll miss the chef’s cooking. The riad is beautiful, in the old part near the souks, and the service was exceptional from arrival. The staff were so knowledgeable and attentive, I can’t praise them enough.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the msmen and attay. I stayed a few days and it was beautiful, clean, and cozy, honestly felt like home. The staff were always smiling, so friendly, and ready to help with anything. I’m sure I’ll come again.
