The cooking class was such a fun highlight, and the food and people made this stay memorable. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the staff really cared about making us comfortable. Riad Dar Zaouia is beautiful and full of charm, with Moroccan hospitality that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I can’t recommend it enough.

With so many riads in Marrakesh, we asked other travellers on our trips and tours about their stays, and didn’t hear of anyone having a better experience than us. Soufian, Mustafa, Hamza, and Leila weren’t just attentive staff, they were lovely people too. Even the story of how they all know one another is lovely. The riad is a beautiful oasis amid Marrakech’s noise and energy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were very high quality. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

We could walk to many places from the riad, which is in a real local neighborhood rather than a tourist area. I liked being able to see what city life is like for residents. The staff were so friendly and helpful, serving us tea in the garden and making sure we were comfortable. It’s a great place to stay, where you can feel welcome and safe and relax despite the lively city around you.
