Ismail looked after every detail and gave us a city map with the best places circled, along with his recommendations. Qamar, the housekeeper, is an angel and makes a delicious Moroccan breakfast. My mom and I felt safe and comfortable in Marrakech knowing we were in good hands at Riad El Maktoub. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were comfortable and better than we expected, and Ismail was a fantastic host.

We stayed for three nights and loved it. Ismail was a lovely host, full of recommendations, and showed us around on our first day. Our downstairs room was beside the kitchen, so it could get loud, and a nearby mosque woke us at 5am each morning. Still, the location and the staff’s kindness made up for that. We’d definitely recommend it.

We landed after midnight because of a flight delay, and Muhammad guided us through the Medina maze so we could find food and drink. Ismail was friendly and knew so much; his help made the trip better. The chef made a great breakfast, and everyone was always smiling. A comfortable little Riad with awesome staff.

I really liked the beautiful style of El Maktoub Riad. Ismail at reception was so hospitable and made everything more enjoyable. He speaks several languages, including Tamazight and English, so it was easy to communicate. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A very clean Riad in a great location. Ismael is a fantastic manager, friendly and knowledgeable about Marrocco’s attractions and restaurants. Breakfast was good too. The one drawback is the pool, which is quite small, and I’m not sure it really qualifies as a pool.
