We celebrated my birthday here, and the staff made the experience wonderful. They were some of the friendliest, most helpful people we’ve met, and went above and beyond during our three-night stay. The breakfast tasted as incredible as it looked, and the pool, property, and rooms were all beautiful. It felt like an oasis in the middle of Marrakesh. This was our favourite place in Morocco, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

I’ve travelled widely and stayed in some wonderful places, but Riad Emberiza Sahari feels like it belongs in a class of its own. I’m not usually sentimental, yet breakfast beneath the fragrant orange tree had me feeling like I was in heaven. The potted palmtree and gorgeous white curtains moved gently in the breeze, and the atmosphere was wonderful. I’ve never had a warmer welcome, and every member of staff was lovely. My room was beautiful, tasteful, and comfortable, with furniture, a cosy bathroom and fragrant shower gel, cute white poufs, fabulous lamps, and superb decoration. It felt as if the room wanted to embrace me and gently rock me into the best sleep EVER. Breakfast was splendid, well above the usual quality of Moroccan breakfasts, even though the breakfasts I’ve had on earlier Morocco trips were already fantastic. I told the lovely guy his crêpe was the best I’d ever eaten, and he soon came back with another one and the most affectionate smile. That was just one of many wonderful moments at the Riad. I’d thought I probably wouldn’t visit Marrakesh again, since I’ve been several times. But after checkout I asked if I could stay on the roof terrace for another 10 minutes or so, and they told me I could stay for 10 hours or so. By then I’d already decided I’d come back, simply to stay at Riad Emberiza Sahari again. A huge thank you and many hugs to everyone working there and making their guests happy.

We booked a small suite, and the best part was being able to have breakfast whenever we woke up, with no set breakfast time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and honestly, I recommend this place. The location can be tricky to find, but there’s paid parking nearby in Riyadh.

Inside the riad, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was perfect, and our bedroom was spotless. It felt like stepping into a fairytale from the busy streets outside. The taxi had been arranged for us, and riad staff met us there and guided us through the maze of terracotta lanes. During the day, it was a great base for exploring the medina and souks. We stayed three nights in the heart of the old town before moving to a five-star resort. I’d read other travellers’ accounts and wanted to experience the old town’s culture first. The medina was a total culture shock. We arrived late on NYE, and everything was happening at once: open food stalls, mopeds, taxis, donkeys and carts, beggars, and very busy streets. Just so you know, the riad is right beside a mosque, and the prayers woke us very early each morning for 5-10 minutes. Prayer could be heard intermittently throughout the day too.

We spent four nights here and were treated like kings. The staff made us feel right at home, and they offered tea whenever we came in. Breakfast was fresh and really delicious each morning. Choukran to the whole team, this Riad is incredible!
