Breakfast on the rooftop was a peaceful start to the day, and the rooms were very clean, beautifully ornate, and had good A/C. They’re fairly basic, so don’t expect full hotel facilities. The riad felt like a lovely oasis amid the city’s hustle and bustle, about a 10 minute walk to the main square. We had a wonderful 3 night stay with friends. The staff were great and surprised me with cake and flowers for my birthday. Taxis can’t get very close because the alleyways are narrow, so be ready to walk the last stretch. I highly recommend it for a Marrakesh trip 😊

Even with the markets only 5 min away, it was calm inside. The rooftops were amazing, and I loved the decor and style. The service was really friendly too. It’s very central, and I had a great time. I’d definitely recommend it!

Breakfast on the roof was a real plus, and you can choose where to have it and get breakfast up until 6.30pm. It’s a beautiful Riad with wonderful service, in a perfect area for visiting the Medina.

We spent 4 nights at the lovely Riad Ilfoulki in February’25, our first time in Marrakesh. We came looking for sunshine and culture and found a calm retreat in the busy Medina. There were lots of different spots to sit and relax, including a spacious roof terrace with sun loungers and fantastic views across the Medina to the Atlas Mountains. We had breakfast up there every day, and it was a real sun trap.
