The Medina is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are local shops, ATMs, and restaurants nearby. It’s easy to walk around during the day or at night. The riad sits in a family neighborhood that felt very safe, with lots of kids playing outside. The team were wonderful. They welcomed us, helped us with the last few meters to the riad, and guided us throughout our stay. They gave us useful tips for getting around Morocco, which made our first visit much easier. We were even able to check in at 1:30am.

After more than 40 years of visits to Marrakech and stays in all sorts of places, this is my favourite. It blends traditional style with modern comforts and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast on the roof was wonderful, and reception gave us helpful local advice. We arrived very late but were still given such a warm welcome. They even arranged a special cake for my daughter’s birthday. The neighborhood felt completely safe, and people were friendly and accepting of tourists. All the staff were lovely, from the women in the kitchen to the men on duty around the clock. A special mention for the beautiful Lyla, and a huge thank you to Ayoub. He gave us outstanding, professional service and made our holiday feel perfect. We now think of him as a friend, and I’ll miss him very much.

I’ve traveled to more than 105 countries and stayed in countless hotels, resorts, and guesthouses. Riad Kasbah 117 in Marrakech has been one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had, and I can’t wait to return. Mohsin, the owner, made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. His warmth, attention, and genuine care set the tone for the whole stay. The riad is peaceful and beautiful, with thoughtful design and excellent facilities. Everything, from the room to the shared areas, was spotless and comfortable. We were well placed to explore the lively heart of Marrakech, while still having somewhere quiet to retreat to. For world-class hospitality, lovely surroundings, and an authentic Moroccan experience, this place belongs at the top of the list. I’ve seen a lot, and this one really stood out.
