Riad l'heure D'été

We didn't feel welcome, and the tense interactions with the staff left us uncomfortable. The rooms weren't ready when we arrived, so we had to wait on the roof. The tea we were served smelled of garlic, and the place felt stuffy and not completely clean. The riad also looked quite different from the photos, and worse in person. I wouldn't recommend it.

Omar was attentive to all the guests and kept checking whether we needed anything. He even made us a quick breakfast when we had to leave early for an excursion. He was kind despite our very late arrival, shared tips about Marrakech and places to visit, and met us at the airport drop-off before walking with us to the pick-up point on our last day. Hopefully he's still there when you stay. The hotel was cozy and very nice inside. We wouldn't have found it without Omar meeting us at drop-off, but after that it's easy enough if you remember the way. It's very close to Jemaa el-Fnaa and to Mabrouka rooftop, a bar about a five-minute walk away. Bars can be hard to find around there since restaurants rarely serve alcohol. My husband and I walked there every night. The area felt very safe, and excursions picked us up in the Medina, which was convenient and close. We had no problems with our room or bathroom, and everything was perfect. I recommend this riad.

We liked having breakfast on the roof terrace. The room was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a very good experience.

The Riad is beautiful and right in the city centre of Marrakesh. Hannah gave me the best massage of my life, and the service and rooms were amazing. My only two suggestions would be softer mattresses and more breakfast variety. Thanks for a lovely stay :)
