Riad Morgane

Every morning there was a fresh breakfast, and when we arrived very late at night, the night watchman walked us all the way to the Riad and welcomed us with tea. Riad morgane is excellent. It’s in the Medina, surrounded by markets and shops, but this part isn’t too touristy, so you can see where local people do their grocery shopping. I recommend it 💕

The Riad is lovely, the staff were friendly, and it’s really close to everything in the Medina. In general, it was a good stay. The price was hard to justify, though: we had to pay for three nights despite staying for two, because they wouldn’t let us cancel the last night five days in advance. That policy felt a bit extreme, and they didn’t offer even a partial refund. Our ground-floor room opened straight onto the patio and breakfast room, so it was hard to sleep when guests talked outside our door or were checked in late at night. The shower wasn’t fixed to the wall or ceiling, which made it quite a challenge. Objectively, it was a good stay, but for what I paid for three nights while staying two, it wasn’t worth it to me.

I definitely recommend riad Morgane. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Ridouane [worker in the riad] was the best: polite, kind, helpful, and hospitable. He made our time in Marrakech easier.
