We had a fabulous girls' trip here. Youssef gave us lots of useful tips for our time in Marrakech, and each evening he set up a table to suit what we wanted. The whole team were welcoming from the moment we arrived, and even arranged extra facilities for our late checkout. Breakfast on the rooftop was a lovely, relaxed start to the day, with pastries, eggs, juice, and tea. The riad is right in the medina, close enough to walk to the lively souks, while inside it feels peaceful. Thanks to Youssef and everyone for looking after us during our few days. Youssef made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay, and we're very grateful for all his help. The riad was lovely, and breakfast on the rooftop was delicious.

The employees were kind and helpful, but the owner's actions spoiled the stay. I was pushed to pay the city tax in cash, even though I had a credit card. It felt dishonest and unprofessional, and left me unable to trust the management. The owner may say they never met me, but staff are put in front of guests and made it clear that management did not want card payments. Other people have complained about this too, and about management's lies. This is definitely not a five-star hotel. The location is poor and it lacks the comfort of a real five-star property. Avoid it until they change how they operate.

Getting here with luggage was difficult. There is no car access, the taxi drop-off is a bit far, and the nearest road is still a 6-7 minute walk through narrow medina lanes. It felt like a maze. We paid 10 euros for a normal transfer; the owner's response was that they had offered a 20 euro transfer. The room had no TV, and when I raised it, the owner said one wasn't needed. Some people may not want one, but others do. The pool was more like a pond and wasn't clean. There is only one pool, despite the description highlights saying two, which feels like clickbait. The owner said the description lists one pool. The air conditioning didn't cool enough. The owner said Marrakech reaches 50C and this was to be expected, but it was 40 or below that day. Cooling needs to improve, since riads aren't all the same. A kettle in the room would also help. I only meant it as a suggestion, but the owner replied that it wasn't mandatory. The door was partly broken, though we could still close it properly. The place where the latch bolt goes was missing, despite the owner's denial. There's a photo attached for reference. The small fridge was probably not working: our water and drinks came out warmer than the room. The owner said all the fridges work perfectly. There was no bin in the room, only in the toilet, though the owner disagreed with that too. The owner's response to my generous 5/10 rating was rude and personally critical instead of addressing the issues. I found my previous stay at another riad much better. At best, this is a three-star place. Taking criticism constructively would help the business. My review wasn't meant to offend anyone, just to share a foreign guest's opinion. I have given other accommodations 9s and 10s, and have no personal grudge. I hope this was a one-off experience, and I'm sure others may have had good stays.

The food was a real highlight. Every meal showed off local flavors, and the chef used fresh local ingredients. I looked forward to eating there, and each meal exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was huge, too. Riad N'S has a beautiful courtyard, a soothing fireplace, and a charming, authentic feel that reflects the area. The design mixes modern comfort with traditional elegance, and it was easy to relax and soak up the culture. The rooms were clean, carefully decorated, and peaceful, like a luxurious little escape from everyday life. The staff were lovely, always quick to help with a smile, whether we needed local suggestions, a ride arranged, or something for particular dietary preferences. From the warm welcome at the door onward, their hospitality made a big impression. My family and I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and full of good memories. It was more than just somewhere to sleep, and I would recommend Riad N'S to anyone after a welcoming, distinctive stay in Marrakech. The whole family is already looking forward to my next visit.
