The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast was a generous spread, freshly made and served with a smile. We were welcomed with mint tea and sweets, and the oil burners placed around the riad leave a lovely scent. The rooms are small and simply furnished, but thoroughly clean. It’s a peaceful place once you’re inside, away from the city noise, though getting there means a short walk from vehicle access along a narrow street. Most of the city’s main sights are an easy walk away. Finding your way back after dark can be difficult, and sound carries through the building if other guests are noisy. All in all, I’d recommend it as a good place to stay in Marrakesh.

The courtyard is so photogenic, and the location inside the Medina makes it easy to walk to all the tourist spots. Staff were amazing throughout, especially Suleiman, who was a big help. The rooms are on the small side but definitely manageable. Great value for money, and I highly recommend staying here.

I’m glad I picked this riad for my time in this amazing city. Samir, Soulane, Mustapha, and Jaafar were so nice to me and my family and helped us with everything we needed. Their hospitality made the stay especially pleasant. Excellent staff!

We left the massage feeling violated, uneasy, and deeply uncomfortable. The terrace door stayed open the whole time while we were naked, leaving us feeling exposed to public view. We expected to come away relaxed, but instead felt so uncomfortable we couldn’t even look at anyone who worked there. At the start, we were told to undress and keep on our panties. We weren’t given robes, towels, or any directions, so we waited naked in a small room until we opened the terrace door ourselves and called out that we were ready. They then put us in the sauna and washed us down. Afterwards we were told to relax there, but laughter and talking nearby made that impossible. The massage room was so cramped, with two tables placed close together, that we could barely get out of the sauna and were bumped and shifted during the massage. One masseuse made an outgoing phone call, and we both heard the call sound. It happened twice. A few minutes after one of those calls, we heard a man speaking on the phone during the massage. While the outgoing call was being made, only one hand was massaging, so it seemed clear the other hand was occupied with the phone. We couldn’t tell what was happening because we were face down and too uncomfortable to look, but we both wondered whether we were being recorded or shown on FaceTime. Whatever was going on, phones and calls should never be part of a massage.

The staff were extremely helpful and gave us a Medina map, pointing out the main places to see. We also tried the Hammam and really enjoyed it. A great Riad experience, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
