Riad Palais Blanc

The design is bright, lovely, and cozy, and everything was very clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and breakfast was excellent. My husband and I came to Marrakech for New Year 2026 and picked this riad so we could walk to everything. It turned out to be the perfect choice. We also tried the massage and hammam services and loved them, such a wonderful way to unwind. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend the riad.

Ahmed, the manager, and his team made the stay feel personal and memorable. Their care was warm and thoughtful, and they seemed to anticipate what we needed. After we’d been out all day, they brought us fresh mint tea, then later lit a fire for a cozy evening. When we were in an unfamiliar part of Marrakech, they arranged a taxi easily and reassuringly. The location made it easy to explore the souks and the heart of Marrakech, while still feeling calm when we returned. Being close to the airport also made arrivals and departures convenient. The building is beautifully designed, immaculate, and clearly cared for. Our hammam and massage were outstanding, authentic, and deeply relaxing. Breakfast had loads of fresh choices, sweet and savory, traditional and international, and everything was delicious. Palais Blanc Spa is a stunning place to stay, and thanks to Ahmed and the staff, our experience was truly unforgettable. A flawless retreat in Marrakech. PURE EXCELLENCE.

We booked a four-night stay for February just before Christmas, after reading the excellent reviews online. Booking was easy, but a few days ago we received an email out of nowhere saying our room had been cancelled, with no reason given. We’ve tried repeatedly to contact the hotel and still haven’t heard back, so now we’re struggling to find a quality hotel for our trip. Completely disgraceful service from Palais Blanc Riad.

Ahmed at the front desk was a real highlight, always courteous, respectful, and ready to help. The other staff were friendly too, and the complimentary mint tea was much appreciated. The location is fantastic, opening right onto the lively city, yet the riad itself feels like a calm oasis. The roof terrace catches the sun and is full of birdsong, and the basic spa was a welcome extra. Our room was generally lovely and good, though we think it was room 18, it was a week ago now, and it may be the loudest in the riad. The obscured windows hide the adjacent alley, but we could hear locals repairing motorbikes in the early hours, around 4/5 am, which affected our sleep. Next time we’d choose a poolside room. Mattress protectors would help, as we noticed unpleasant stains on the bed, though extra bottom sheets were available. The bathroom looked stylish, but the ceiling leaked. Despite those room-specific issues, the charm, location, and especially Ahmed’s excellent service made it a worthwhile stay. With a few room improvements, the riad could be truly exceptional.
