Riad Riva

Breakfast was fantastic, and everyone was so friendly and happy to help with tours or any questions. Riad Riva is only a few minutes’ walk from the main square, and you can reach Majorelle Garden on foot in about 20 minutes. We had a great stay and would definitely come back 😉

Traveling alone, I felt safe and comfortable thanks to how welcoming everyone was. They picked me up at the airport at night, and when I ran into problems on my trip, including my bank card being blocked and being left behind on an outside camel ride I had bought, they were there to help and answer my questions. I found more than hosts here, I found friends. The Riad is right in the Medina, and they also offer good, inexpensive camel rides and trips to nearby regions. I was there last week and had a fantastic time. For the price, it was just perfect, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The room doors let noise through, which was a bit annoying at night. Still, Ayoub and Abdou were great hosts, and Fatima kept everything clean and tidy every day. They were all so kind that we felt at home and really enjoyed our stay.

Our first day was a little inconvenient because our room wasn’t ready, so we had to stay in the riad next door. It wasn’t a big deal, but the closet in our riad also smelled bad. The place itself was clean, quiet and beautiful, in a great location, and our hosts were friendly, especially Ayoub. We’d definitely visit again; the good points far outweigh the drawbacks.
