Riad Villa Sidi Baba

Staff were fantastic and always around to advise us, give directions, arrange taxis or excursions, and take care of what we needed. The Villa is less than a five-minute walk from Jemma al Fna Square, with two rooftop bar/restaurants at the top of the alley, less than a minute away. It was perfect for our visit to Marrakech. We’ll definitely come back and recommend this Riad to anyone thinking of a holiday in Mareakech.

The location is excellent, the Riad is beautifully designed and decorated, and the staff are attentive. I’d generally recommend it, but there are two main issues. The rooms are very small, so we had to be careful not to trip over our belongings, which we had to leave on the floor. Breakfast was very poor: supermarket jam portions, bread that was rubbery and inedible, and a boiled egg from the day before. The coffee was very weak, and there was no salad or fruit apart from orange juice. Luckily, the kitchen girl agreed to make us an omelet.

Reception were helpful and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The surroundings are stunning too. This is the most beautiful accommodation in Morocco, truly a dream to stay here.

We loved the room, it was comfortable and had AC, which was really handy in Marrakech’s high temperatures. The location was convenient, close to the main attractions but on a quiet street, so outside noise never disturbed us. Staff were kind and attentive, always checking that we were happy and had what we needed. Every morning we looked forward to breakfast in the patio, with wonderful homemade traditional Moroccan food. We’re definitely coming back!
