My best friend and I spent our last night in Marrakesh here, and I wish we’d stayed longer. It was a peaceful escape from the busy medina. Abdul, the night staff member, was attentive, kind, and caring, and looked out for our safety as we came and went. The two lovely women working during the day were so joyful, sweet, and welcoming. I’m sad I didn’t get their names. Being here felt like being with family. I’ll definitely book again when I come back. Miss you all, and thanks for such an incredible stay.

My wife and I stayed one night and had an amazing time. Abdul was especially helpful, taking care of our concerns when we arrived. The staff had also answered my questions about the riad online before our visit. It’s a lovely place, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone going to the bazaar in Marrakech.

The riad sits right at the Medina’s edge, so it’s easy to get into the old town or leave it. The room we booked was great, the breakfast was excellent, and the rooftop has a lovely view. There are a few good restaurants in the Square, with plenty more if you walk farther out. Simo was great throughout our stay. He helped with our bags, showed us the way to the riad when we arrived, arranged taxis, and took time to chat and offer recommendations. For excursion pickups, it’s usually possible to get to café de France until midday, about a six-minute walk away. After midday, access to the Square gets blocked, so you have to walk a bit farther. We highly recommend the riad for these reasons.

The location was quiet, right in the middle of the medina and close to the main square Jamee El Fna. Our room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was large, and the bed and linen were comfortable. The service was friendly. Breakfast was simple compared with other places we’ve stayed, and a little slow. We had a family room with a ceiling window, so it never got completely dark at night. We could also hear some guests on the terrace above us late in the evening. There are other lovely rooms without those issues. Since the riad is deep in the medina, you need to park far away and use a handcart service for luggage. I guess the riad may be able to arrange that too.

The host was nice, and the shared areas were great. Breakfast was small but good. The main problem was our room. The Violet room is small, on the ground floor, and felt worn out and humid, with depressing colors and hair in the bath. If you want to enjoy your stay, avoid that room. You can definitely find something better for this price.
