Stork Marrakech luxury Hostel

I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in hostels around the world, and Stork has been a very clean, welcoming, and safe-feeling place. As a solo female traveller, I’d highly recommend it. The location is great, within walking distance of everything I needed, and I’ve felt safe there at all times. The hostel is cleaned to a high standard, the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and each bed has curtains and a locker. Showers have warm water, laundry is available onsite, and the wifi is good for working. The balcony has the best view in Marrakech and is a lovely place to relax or watch sunrise and sunset. Check-in is quick and straightforward, and breakfast at a nearby cafe is included. I’ve been volunteering here for over two weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Before coming to Morocco, I researched and spoke with several hostels before choosing Stork. I felt welcome and part of the community right away. I’ve read some older reviews and honestly can’t understand the negative comments about the place, especially the staff. I’ve seen first-hand how welcoming they are. Facial, the owner, is lovely and goes above and beyond to help guests feel comfortable. He treats you like family, cares about everyone’s experience, and is easy to contact when you need information or extra support. He knows the area well, showed me around when I arrived, and is always helpful with excursions and local tips.

I stayed for a week and Facial was an absolute gentleman. He went out of his way to help me, and I saw him do the same for other guests. It was the cleanest and most comfortable hostel I’ve stayed in, with a small enough number of beds that it never felt crowded. The shower setup was brilliant, and the rooms had loads of storage. All of that made for a relaxing, comfortable stay. I hope I get back to Marrakech and see you again someday, Facial!

The friendly welcome made the stay feel easy from the start, and the staff even brought us tea and biscuits. Stork Hostel was spotless, with comfortable bedding and a handy location that made getting around simple. It was also very affordable. I’d happily stay here again.

The rooms are compact but very clean, and the shared toilets and showers were clean too. Staff were friendly and there was always someone available to help, whatever the hour. I could walk to restaurants, shops, and markets, and they arranged an airport pickup plus a free ride back when I went home. Great location.
