Villa Al Assala Palmeraie

People played loud music by the pool all day, and then others came back from nightclubs in the middle of the night with shouting and music. The experience felt more like an all-inclusive stay. It was too expensive for that, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The peaceful grounds and lovely pool made the distance from the Medina feel worthwhile, and the taxi service they use made getting around easy. We loved our stay in Marrakech. Our room was spotless and roomy, with lots of storage and its own terrace. The relaxing spaces are beautiful, and the friendly little cats wandering around were a nice touch. The staff spoke good English and took great care of us. Even though we had an early departure, they prepared breakfast before the usual time, with a good mix of sweet and savory food. We also had dinner there one night and enjoyed it. We’d happily recommend this place.

The team were lovely and always ready to help with reservations. The villa’s owner came by at breakfast each day to greet guests, and sometimes stopped in during the evening for a glass of wine and a chat about Marrakech. They arranged our airport transfer and transport throughout the trip for a very reasonable price. The villa has a distinctive design, large clean rooms, and cozy shared spaces with nice furniture and paintings. The terrace beside the heated pool looks great. We enjoyed the tasty dishes and generous traditional breakfast. A really lovely place, highly recommended.

The food was good quality and reasonably priced, with medium sized portions that felt fair for the price. Drinks were also priced well, so it never felt like we were paying extra just because it was a nice hotel. We had a great time here for three nights. It was relaxed and well maintained, just the experience we wanted. The staff were great and spoke English. It’s a bit outside the city, but you can use InDrive to get a taxi. The owners were around, chatting with guests and keeping an eye on things, though they only speak French. Most of the other guests were from France. They even offered everyone wine by the pool, which was a lovely touch. A minibar in the room would have been nice for keeping drinks cold. Thanks!
