A calm morning by the pool was just what I needed. The staff really try to make your stay pleasant, and Said, the owner, speaks great French and patiently helped us organize our trips. It’s a simple, clean place near the taxi and bus station, and a handy base for Ouarzazate.

Getting around was easy from this hotel: shared taxis and buses are less than a five-minute walk away, and Careffour supermarket is about 15 minutes on foot. Our room was clean and had AC and hot water. Nice place, with great service.

The staff made a difficult stay much easier when I got sick. They were extremely helpful, and I’m really grateful. For the price, the clean rooms, comfortable beds, and AC are good too. Ouarzazate is a calm, pleasant city with some uncrowded attractions, and I’d recommend both the city and this hotel to anyone wanting a break from the stress of Fes or Marrakech.

The room was old and worn, with several lights and switches that didn’t work, and the restaurant was out of service. It was also extremely dirty. Water kept pouring from the wall and leaking from the shower tip, the towel rail came loose into our hands several times, and the toilet lid hadn’t been disinfected. The receptionist didn’t speak English, so we couldn’t get basic information like where or when breakfast was served. They also didn’t tell us the pool existed or explain its conditions for use.
