Golden Beach Resort Hotel

Breakfast and dinner were good, but the power was out most of the time. Staying in the room wasn’t comfortable if you can’t tolerate the heat.

The food was really good, with lots of choices, and both buffet meals were included in the room price. My room upstairs in the reception building was okay, and the price was fair, though the hotel needs work overall. The bathroom needed proper cleaning and maintenance, and the outside floors had water and sand on them, which felt unpleasant. The pool also needed cleaning. I could smell a strong mix of chlorine and urine. With more attention to cleanliness and upkeep, the stay could be much more enjoyable.

Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices, while dinner was fine. The room was spacious and the toilet was clean, but there was sand on the floor, so we called the front office and staff came to clean it. The bedsheets were clean too, though the old mosquito net smelled bad. What bothered my friend and me most was the bedroom window, which had glass panes but no curtain. They should replace the mosquito nets, put up curtains, and clean rooms properly before the next guests arrive. First impressions count.

The view from our room was nice. Service was good, though it took a little while. We let the office know there was sand on the floor.
