It’s a little away from downtown, but close to the bus terminal. The building is only three storeys, so there’s no lift. Even so, we had a really good stay, and the rooms were very clean and spacious. After a long bus ride, two nights here gave us the comfort we needed to recover. The staff were extremely kind and friendly, even offering to look after our child. Since the rooftop bar was under renovation, they quickly turned the meeting room into a temporary dining room for our tour group of over 30 people. Highly recommended.

The hotel is quiet and new, close to the bus station, with attentive staff and Kachin art on the walls. Breakfast comes with a lovely rooftop view. Getting downtown takes a bit of effort: it’s around 20 minutes by tuk tuk and costs 3000, but that’s manageable. Payment is another drawback, since cards and dollars aren’t accepted, only Myanmar Kyat. I’d still recommend it.

The breakfast was tasty, though it really needs labels. Rooms were okay and the staff friendly. It’s close to the highway bus station, but a little way from downtown.

My first visit to Myitkyina was a great trip. The hotel was a nice place to stay, the service was good, and there’s a rooftop bar.
