Pan Pacific Yangon

Dinner at Pan Pacific Hotel Yangon was a lovely experience. The elegant interiors and beautiful setting made for a relaxing evening, and the view added to the atmosphere. Service was attentive and professional. It seems suited to a family meal, business meeting, or special occasion. A fantastic, memorable place for dinner in Yangon, highly recommended.

The pool deck became my haven, and I thought the Pacific Club lounge and dining venues like the Hai Tien Lo Restaurant were exceptional. My high-floor room had breathtaking views of Yangon's busy streets and the ancient golden Shwedagon Pagoda in the distance. It was minimalist luxury, with the hotel's impeccable service apparent from the start. Even the humble and accomplished Cluster General Manager, Mr. Hasitha Manthriratne, introduced himself, which felt like a real sign of the hotel's culture. Walking in from the busy streets, the cool, soaring lobby felt like another world. The sleek tower of golden glass offers a complete urban escape. I learned it opened in 2018, during a time of great optimism here, and is a bold symbol of modern Myanmar, even as the country navigates more complex times. The premium price is clear in everything. The location works well for business, but as a tourist I needed taxis to reach historic sites, which left me a little cut off from the city's raw energy. Still, the experience was flawless for me. If you want uncompromising comfort, striking design, and service that makes you feel valued, this is the ultimate choice. You come for a pristine contemporary retreat that delivers on modern luxury, not old-world charm.

The location gets 100/10 from me. Everything I could think of was nearby and within walking distance. The staff were professional, kind, and super helpful, and made me feel at home. My room was spacious, amazing, clean, and full of detail. For the best view, get a corner room. Breakfast was continental, with the chef putting whatever you crave on the buffet. I wasn't expecting such a beautiful hotel in Yangon, from the moment I arrived until checkout. I'd always come back when I'm in Yangon.

It sits above Juction City Mall, with most attractions within walking distance. The rooms are well appointed, and there's a nice pool and sauna. WiFi worked well, though you need a VPN for WhatsApp and Facebook. Both breakfast and dinner buffets had a very good, wide choice. Staff were friendly and spoke English. The Reception dollar exchange rate was close to the rate outside, and the Teak bar has happy hour from 5-9pm. I'd definitely stay again.
