I spent two months at Anand's guest house and had a good experience. The flat is well equipped and the location is hard to beat. It has an electronic lock, so there's no need to worry about keys. Anand was kind and accommodating throughout, and got back to me promptly whenever I had an issue.

The apartment is tidy and conveniently set up, with a washing machine in the bathroom. Anand, the manager, was especially helpful. I'd recommend Zaya to anyone looking for a place to stay in UB.

We had a comfortable, affordable base in a great UB location. The rooms and interior were bright, modern, airy, and very clean, and both the owner and staff were ready to help arrange excursions with drivers, jeeps, or guides. We hired an English-speaking driver and jeep for four days and left the itinerary open. It turned into an amazing trip to Kharkhorin, Elsen Tsarkhai, and Khustei, with nights spent with nomad families our driver knew in whichever area we ended up that day. Highly recommend this place.

I stayed two nights in November 2014 while traveling from China to the UK on the Trans-Siberian route. The manager was kind and gave me a lift to UB train station for my onward trip. The rooms were warm, breakfast was good, and the quiet common room had some nice books to read. It was a restful place to stay.

I extended my stay, and Anand helped register the extra time with immigration and arranged a driver for me. He made me feel at ease and safe, and we felt right at home. The place was clean and extremely comfortable, and the proprietor is amazing. I've stayed in a lot of hostels, but I've never been treated better. Thanks for everything, Anand!!!!
