Aquarius Beach Tower

I really enjoyed the roomy apartment and how easy it was to get to the beach. My room had a few issues: the shower drained poorly, some pots were missing from the kitchen, and the thermostat was set very cold and couldn't be adjusted. Those problems may not be the same in every room. I'd still recommend staying here.

This has always been my place to get away, for as long as I can remember. It's right in the heart of Saipan, and I think you'll forget everything once you come here. The staff are still kind and helpful, even if you're not staying there. Make sure to head to the beach and see The Lords Promise.

The rooms are big and the place stays cool during the day, which is nice, but the floors were dirty and the showers old and rusty. Walking barefoot left my feet dirty before I even got into bed. Only one elevator works, and the stairwells are locked. That seems like a fire hazard. What happens if there's a fire and the one slow elevator can't be used? Elevators aren't supposed to be used in a fire, and each apartment has an electric stove, microwave, and dryer, all of which could cause fires. Our washer and dryer didn't work, either.

I checked in Dec. 18, and the front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. They had hand sanitizer at the entrance, in the lobby, and in the elevators to follow covid guidelines. I booked a mountain-view one-bedroom for my birthday, at $140 plus $20 tax, and it was better than expected. The view was fantastic, and the apartment was clean and comfortable, neither too cold nor too warm. It was fully furnished. There aren't any 5-star hotels on the island, but I felt I got what I paid for, maybe a little more.
