The whole team made our stay special, and Shamaau especially helped make it feel memorable. Mazin, Sheran, Toby, Shingi, and the lovely women running the buffet all deserve a mention too. They welcomed us with big smiles and took such good care of us. It was a really lovely place to enjoy as a couple. Everything felt perfect, so we could just relax and take in the paradise around us, with blue water, lots of fish, and great food and drinks. Thank you so much, everyone.

The water was almost unreal, so clear and blue, with colorful fish, coral, and lively sea life right below the villa deck. Snorkeling there felt like being in a living aquarium, and every swim brought something new. Between the house reef, spa, and soft beaches, there was a lovely mix of activity and downtime. Aizi made our stay especially memorable. She was thoughtful from the start, sharing useful recommendations, arranging experiences, and checking that we were comfortable. The rest of the staff were warm and cheerful too, always ready to help. Our villa had turquoise water right outside, a private plunge pool, and an open layout that brought the ocean into the space. The food across the different venues was fresh and full of flavor, with local ingredients and international influences. Dining became one of the highlights of our trip.

We had something to do throughout our stay, thanks to the events team and the activities they put together. Hridoy's art class was a real pleasure, and he was a delightful teacher. We also learned he is a very talented videographer! My wife and I had a terrific time at The Standard. Sherry, our island host, was friendly and quick to respond whenever we had a request. The wider team were lovely as well, and it was clear the resort puts a lot of care into its service. We'd recommend it to anyone after a fun, relaxed holiday in the Maldives.

We chose a Water Villa for our December 2025 honeymoon, and being able to snorkel right from the backyard was wonderful. The all-inclusive package covered breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets, which were well worth it, along with some other great perks. The place itself is gorgeous, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We had a splendid stay. If you're considering it, don't second-guess yourself, you'll love it.
