The entertainment and service were excellent. The hotel was still being remodeled while we were there, though: the bathrooms had lights on extension cords, the cement wasn't finished yet, and there were temporary tables and folding chairs. Even with all that, it looks like it'll be a beautiful place once the work is done.

It's near the beach, which is the one good thing. The hotel itself is old, needs a lot of maintenance, and feels overpriced for the poor quality.

The rooms were in terrible shape and looked nothing like the website photos. We had reservations for several rooms, and this wasn't just an issue with mine. The mattresses were dirty, the mini fridge was rusty and moldy, and there was mold on the bathroom ceilings and shower heads. There was no security on the rooms, so anyone could break in. Rooms facing the street were incredibly loud. You could hear everything, and buses came and went all night. It's just not worth spending your vacation or money here.

The hotel was in bad repair after the hurricane and wasn't very accommodating. There was hardly any food available, and even the hotel stopped serving after 4 pm.

My brother's room flooded, but luckily the room next door was empty because they were pumping water out. The pool was much too warm, and housekeeping was only three stars.
