Hotel Boutique Casa Jade

The ceiling dripped constantly onto my bed, with drops landing on my forehead. I shifted to the other side, but the water hitting the mattress was loud enough to keep me awake. I put a pillow over the wet spot to muffle it, though that barely helped. When I asked the hotel for help, nobody was on site. They supposedly handle everything through WhatsApp, but no one answered my messages. I only got a response after filling out the Expedia survey, and they offered 10% off a future stay as compensation for a wet bed and sleepless night. That felt incredibly tone-deaf. The noise was awful. You could hear every conversation, footstep, and door in the hallway. There was zero soundproofing, so light sleepers, and even medium sleepers, should expect a nightmare. The pillows felt like they were cobbled together from scraps of old, broken ones. Towels were worn out and nowhere near hotel quality, and the soap and body wash were like what you'd find in a public bus-station restroom. I'd also called ahead to ask if they could receive a package for me, something most hotels happily do, but they refused. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. With the leak, the noise, the lack of service, and the poor amenities, I wouldn't stay here again and can't recommend the property.
