It's a decent, low-key place for a night. I only felt it needed more maintenance.

We visited in January 2026 and had a very pleasant stay at Hotel JS in Cocoyoc. There was a small issue with our room when we arrived, but the staff were kind and professional, quickly came up with solutions, and made sure we were comfortable. They helped with every request throughout our visit, always with excellent service. We'd read earlier reviews mentioning facility problems and poor service, but things seemed much better this time. The staff were friendly, attentive and ready to help, and we could see improvements to the hotel's condition. They are continuing to work on keeping it in good shape. Their effort is clear, and we hope they keep it up. We'd definitely return.

I can't recommend this hotel. Our room was in poor shape, the pool was closed for maintenance so we couldn't use it, and the manager didn't attend to us. Reception staff were very rude.

Service today was terrible. We couldn't get into the pools, and there were lots of problems in the rooms. Worst of all, nobody in charge offered solutions. When we tried calling the manager, she kept hanging up on us. They have no shame. This hotel should be shut down.
