Hotel La Finca

The place was noisy all the time, day and night, and staff did nothing about it. In the bathroom, a pane was missing from the window beside the neighbors’ balcony, so anyone could look in. The room was somehow freezing. I asked staff for a blanket after the first night, but they only left the same sheet-thin “blanket” that was already there. When I checked out, they lied about this to the booking site. The AC remote I got at check-in didn’t work; after reprogramming it, I found the AC had no heat. This was one of the worst places I’ve stayed, and the staff’s account of what happened was false.

The staff were kind and really tried to make our stay as good as possible. Most spoke some English, and even those who didn’t were engaging. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, but we changed out of our travel clothes in the spa and they stored our luggage. After a long day walking and exploring Paris, sitting outside the cafe with a drink was lovely. Both the hotel and cafe are excellent.

I booked for 10 days a couple of weeks ago, and it was awful. The cleaning ladies knocked on my door at 7:00 a.m. or earlier every single day to “check” on something, but they weren’t even going to clean. They kept waking me up, which felt so disrespectful. Then on a Friday night, after I got back from the beach, I found my room OPEN! They did nothing about it. This is the worst Hotel I’ve ever been to. Do yourself a favor and hesitate before booking here!

The pool is family friendly, which was the only good thing for us. The AC leaked and left water all over the floor. We told the staff, and they only changed the filters. They said it was fixed, but it kept leaking. The next day the cleaning lady took our old towels and left no clean ones, then we were accused of stealing their towels. I wouldn’t stay here again.
